Description: Get to know the real Warhol in this talk with James Warhola and Thomas Kiedrowski. James Warhola is a children’s author and illustrator, science fiction artist—and Andy Warhol’s nephew. Thomas Kiedrowski is a Warhol aficionado and author of Andy Warhol’s New York City. Following the talk, Thomas Kiedrowski will sign copies of his book that will be available for purchase in the Museum Shop.

Bio: Thomas Kiedrowski is an independent scholar and lecturer currently touring the United States to promote his new book, Andy Warhol’s New York City. He has spent the last few years collecting stories, interviews and articles pertaining to over 300+ Warhol-related locations around Manhattan. He is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee and currently lives in New York City. Visit his website http://warholtour.com/.
Bio: James Warhola is an artist and illustrator and the nephew of Andy Warhol. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in design from Carnegie Mellon University and then studied at the Art Students' League of New York. He has designed over 300 science fiction and fantasy covers for books by such authors as Spider Robinson, Heinlein, and W. Gibson. Since 1987, he has concentrated on illustrating children's books, including Uncle Andy’s Cats and Uncle Andy's, which won a 2004 IRA Children's Book Award. Visit his website www.jameswarhola.com
