A beautiful autumn day awaits you on November 6 from 1-5pm at our third annual House of Blues and Brews, taking place in MOCA’s outdoor sculpture garden. Enjoy live music by Dangermuffin, stews by some of the area’s most renowned chefs, beer tasting with O’Connor Brewing of Norfolk and specialty drinks by Cathead Vodka. Proceeds benefits MOCA’s spring/summer exhibition Andy Warhol: Portraits. Featuring a stew cook off judged by Patrick Evans-Hylton, Lorraine Eaton and Susan Mayo.
General admission tickets (stew tasting + cash bar) are $20 for MOCA members and $25 for non-members.
VIP tickets (stew + open bar (beer/wine) + catering) are $50 for MOCA members and $55 for non-members. Tickets at the door are $30 general admission and $60 VIP admission.

- Great Dismal Black IPA: Limited Release. Named after our wildlife refuge. Full-bodied ale, extensively hopped both in bittering and aroma.
- Red Nun Ale: Named after the nautical term for the red Buoy. O’Connor’s interpretation of an Irish Red Ale. Robust malt background with a kiss of hops.
- Norfolk Canyon Pale Ale: Named after the offshore fishing grounds off the coast of Virginia.
- Green Can Golden Ale: Named after the nautical term for a green buoy. Light-bodied golden ale. Crisp, clean, easy-drinking.
