Drawing and Painting on Glass

Instructor: Ali Rogan
The innovative use of drawing and painting on glass will be explored using a variety of processes, including glass powders, stringers and crushed glass allowing students to experiment with texture and design elements. Kiln demonstrations  and instruction will be covered in glass. Students are encouraged to bring drawings or photographs for design inspiration.

Mobile Glass Studio: Introduction to Glassblowing

Visiting Artist: Ryan Gothrup
In this one-day crash course, students will learn the basics of manipulating hot molten glass. The class will focus on blowing and shaping the glass into various forms. This is an opportunity to have a unique experience and depart with a new understanding of glass as well as making some cool objects to take home with you. All tools and materials will be provided. No experience required. All you need is sunglasses!
Members $70 – Register with a friend or family member and save 10% on both students tuition.
