Ceramics I & II

Beginner and intermediate students learn fundamental hand-building, wheel-throwing, decorating and glazing techniques. Intermediate students further develop their pottery skills by focusing on personal interests and look¬ing at contemporary ceramicists for inspiration.

Ceramics II & III

Students explore intermediate and advanced techniques to refine their handbuilding, wheel-throwing, decorating and glazing skills. New artistic directions in materials, methods and design are sources of study. Students look at contemporary ceramicists to better inform their own process.
