February 10 June 26, 2011 - VIRGINIA BEACH, VA-The Contemporary Art Center of Virginia (CAC) opens an exciting new exhibit of ultra-realistic sculpture by Milwaukee-based artist Marc Sijan. In response to a poll of CAC constituents requesting more realism in upcoming exhibitions, CAC has answered the call with Sijan's strikingly realistic, life-size sculptures. The sculptures are on view from February 10 through June 26, 2011.
In a gallery guide compiled by Smith Kramer Fine Art Services, Sijan describes his work as an "homage to humanity" fascination with its own forms.
