OPEN CALL TO ARTISTS: ART UNDER GLASS. Art Under Glass is a pilot program of the City of Virginia Beach’s Office of Cultural Affairs, in conjunction with Town Center Associates, to make vacant storefront space in the Town Center Arts & Entertainment District available for temporary art exhibits by local artists.
The Artists' Gallery
The Artists Gallery, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is a working marketplace for visual artists, offering visitors the opportunity to experience artists creating, displaying and selling their original works of art. In addition to new works on display, the gallery sponsors group shows and individual exhibitions by members and invited guest artists. The Artists Gallery, in existence since 1988, is managed by the cooperative efforts of the exhibiting artists.
The Gallery at Pavilion Center II
OPEN CALL TO LOCAL ARTISTS: ART EXHIBITION PROTOCOL. Exhibit your work in an active office building and receive a complimentary reception to promote sales. This program is sponsored by The Runnymede Corporation.
Old Beach Art Market
In collaboration with the Old Beach Farmers Market and local art supporters, the Old Beach Art Market is a intimate gathering of local artists who display their work for sale to the public. Local artists are welcome to sell their artwork and wares in the parking lot at the corner of 19nd Street and Cypress the First Saturday of each month throughout the summer. The 2012 season is starting June 2nd. Artists are required to secure a City of Virginia Beach business license.
